Late arrivals policy

Due to increasing numbers of patients arriving late for appointments, we have reluctantly decided to adopt the following policy for late arrivals: ANY PATIENT ARRIVING LATE FOR AN APPOINTMENT WILL BE ASKED TO RE-BOOK.  Late arrivals have a knock-on effect for other patients, adding to the pressure of the workload for GPs and Nurses.
We understand that sometimes lateness is related to a medical condition such as memory difficulties, and we will endeavour to be flexible in these circumstances.

If you book an appointment and you are not able to attend please tell us straight away. Even if it’s last minute we can usually re-book an appointment, possibly with a patient who needs an Urgent appointment on the day.
