Visitors to the area

The St. David’s area is popular with visitors and tourists, particularly during the school holidays.  Occassionally visitors may need to be seen by a Doctor or Nurse during their stay.  If you need to see a clinician while you are staying in the area we will ask you to complete a short NHS form which will temporarily register you with our Practice (this will not deregister you with your Practice at home).  You will need details of the address you are staying at in our area and the details of your Doctor at home so we can forward a record of your treatment there.

If you need a Repeat prescription while you are here, perhaps because you have forgotten your medication, you can obtain an emergency supply of most medications directly from the Pharmacist at the local chemist on Cross Square in St. David’s without a GP prescription – you do not need to see us.  Please go in person to the chemist with details of the medication you need and they will be able to advise you.  St David’s Community Pharmacist: Telephone (01437) 720243.

Please telephone the Surgery if you need our help during your visit.  We are able to signpost to other services locally such as the local Optometrist.
